Stamp Collector or Part Time Stamp Dealer?
In this hobby most of us enjoy buying and selling stamps or covers to improve our collections or turn a small profit. That profit for many collectors is quickly eaten up by new acquisitions and stamp collecting has always been, to a large degree, about the successful deals we do. However, just as the Internet has impacted on almost every aspect of commerce, it has significantly changed stamp collecting too. Perhaps the biggest change is how a stamp collector can turn into an "instant dealer" with the help of of a mouse click on a website. [...]

Cost of Stamps to Increase While Royal Mail Falls Short on Christmas Delivery Service
New figures reveal that Royal Mail has fallen short of its first-class delivery target during the busy run-up to Christmas. Only 92.3% of first-class mail sent actually arrived the next day during the quarter ending the second week of December. On the plus side, the far less demanding delivery target of three working days for second-class mail was achieved. Despite service standards missing their target, users need to brace themselves for inflation busting price rises. [...]
